A while ago I stitched these little flowers just for fun on a fabric scrap. I liked it but didn´t know what to do with it…
….and yesterday (finally) I had an idea ! See yourself ;)
I mostly picked the more geometrical pattern from the fabric line. Except this one … isn´t it a beautiful old bull ? ;)

I sewed some new pillow cases for our couch. I used “deer valley” fabric from joel dewberry in the azure colorway and I guess now I will try to make a matching quilt. Well that is probably gonna take a while.
Some more piecing experiments … this time with some embroidery. These lovely birds are from a template I found on the Martha Stewart website.

I thougt to embroider the seams would look nice, but now it looks a little messed up. I guess if I try to fix it I´m gonna mess the birdie even more up, so I leave it like that.
I´m not a Quilter, but since Im curious about lots of crafts and I found a while ago those beautiful bundle of fat quarters I had to give it a try. I guess next step is to learn how to quilt these piece.
